ABOUT ELIZABETH

Film Editor

Elizabeth Saltzman is a film/television editor with a passion for storytelling and creative collaboration.

​

Elizabeth holds an MFA in Film Editing from the AFI Conservatory ('17) and a BA in Cinema Studies from Oberlin College ('13), during which she spent a summer term at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and a winter term at Prague Film School.

 

In 2014-2015, Elizabeth was the Development and Marketing Associate for River City Brass in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for whom she produced and edited commercial spots and other promotional material. After moving back to Los Angeles for her MFA, Elizabeth worked as a Post Production Assistant on the Amblin feature The Turning and on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Elizabeth was also an Assistant Editor for The Legacy of Skywalker, a feature-length behind the scenes documentary for Lucasfilm, and worked as an Assistant Editor and Dailies Editor for theatrical trailers. She is also a regular editor for Look What SHE Did!, a nonprofit organization which produces videos of amazing women talking about other inspirational women throughout history. In addition, she has edited several music videos and short narrative films.

 

Elizabeth then co-edited eight episodes of The Defeated, a live action series now streaming on Netflix. She was a pre-vis editor for BRON Digital in 2021 and then made sole editor on their animated series Gossamer (later developed into back to back features) and also co-editor of BRON's animated adaptation of Robin Hood

 

Most recently, Elizabeth was a music editor for Transformers: One for Paramount as well as co-editor for the music video for "If I Fall" with Quavo, Ty Dolla $ign, and ARE WE DREAMING (Brian Tyler). 

 

She is an avid tennis player and resides in Los Angeles, California. ​​
