ABOUT ELIZABETH

Film Editor

Elizabeth Saltzman is a film/television editor with a passion for storytelling and creative collaboration.

Elizabeth holds an MFA in Film Editing from the AFI Conservatory ('17) and a BA in Cinema Studies from Oberlin College ('13), during which she spent a summer term at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and a winter term at Prague Film School.

 

In 2014-2015, Elizabeth was the Development and Marketing Associate for River City Brass in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for whom she produced and edited commercial spots and other promotional material. After moving back to Los Angeles for her MFA, Elizabeth worked as a Post Production Assistant on the Amblin feature The Turning and on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Elizabeth was also an Assistant Editor for The Legacy of Skywalker, a feature-length behind the scenes documentary for Lucasfilm, and as an Assistant Editor and Dailies Editor in theatrical trailers. She is also a frequent editor for Look What SHE Did!, a nonprofit organization which produces videos of amazing women talking about other inspirational women throughout history. In addition, she has edited several music videos and short narrative films. Most recently, she co-edited eight episodes of The Defeated, now streaming on Netflix. She also worked as a pre-vis editor for Bron Digital during the winter of 2021.

 

Currently, Elizabeth is working as an editor on an animated series for Bron Digital. She is an avid tennis player and resides in Los Angeles, California.
