Elizabeth Saltzman is a film editor, assistant editor, and storyteller.
She received her BA in Cinema Studies from Oberlin College in 2013, during which time she spent a summer term at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where she cut 16mm film on a Steinbeck, and a winter term at Prague Film School. She received her MFA in Film Editing from the AFI Conservatory in 2017, where she cut six short narrative films and two thesis films.
Elizabeth interned at several production companies and worked as an Executive Assistant before becoming the Development and Marketing Associate for River City Brass, a professional brass band in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for whom she produced and edited commercial spots and other promotional material. After moving back to Los Angeles for her MFA, Elizabeth worked as an Assistant Editor in theatrical trailers, Post Production Assistant on the Amblin feature The Turning, Post Production Assistant on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and as Assistant Editor for the Rise of Skywalker feature-length behind the scenes documentary.She is also a regular editor for Look What SHE Did!, a collection of videos spotlighting women talking about other inspirational women throughout history.
Elizabeth is currently working as a Dailies Editor for theatrical trailers. She is an avid tennis player and moviegoer, and currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
